OUR SERVICES

Whether you need somewhere for your pup to stay for the day, or you're heading off on a big trip, Mountain Base has you covered.

All our furry guests stay in our home with us, on a fully fenced 1.2ha block. They'll be getting walked at least twice a day, and will spend the rest of it exploring, meeting the horses, or crashed out from all the excitement!

DOGGO DAYCARE

Drop your doggo off between 7-10am and they'll be pooped by the time you pick them up after 4pm. We try to be flexible with timings but please let us know if pick up or drop off will be outside of these times.

Price - $30/day ($40 Public Holidays)

OVERNIGHT STAYS

Your best friend will get the best care while you head away on your trip. Drop them off between 7-10am and they'll spend as many nights as you need as part of our family. Pick up by 10am on the last day or add on an extra day if you're going to be getting in late.

Price - $40/overnight ($50 Public Holidays)

Please note, any potential overnighters will need to come for a meet and greet prior to their stay. This is to ensure that they are happy at our home and will get on with our fur family.

FAQs

Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
  • We require both Vanguard Plus 5 and Kennel Cough before we have your pup to stay. This is to keep your pup safe, and all those who share our dog walking areas.

Where will they be staying?
  • All our doggy guests stay in our home with us overnight. During the day, they'll either be inside or helping us out with chores on our lifestyle block.

Do you supply food for my dog's stay?
  • No, we ask that you supply the food for your dog's stay, plus a little bit more for all eventualities. This prevents your dog from having to adjust to a new diet while they're away.

Do you take small dogs?
  • We only accept medium-large breed dogs due to the fencing on our property.

Is your property fenced?
  • Yes, there is wire fencing the whole way round, with sheep proof fence on three sides.

Why do overnighters have to come for a meet and greet prior to staying?
  • In the unlikely event that your dog isn't happy at our home, or doesn't get on with our fur family, we'd rather find out when you are in a position to take them home and make alternative arrangements for your trip, rather than when you're away and trying to relax!
